Ever heard of Dehli 2 Dublin? Think Bollywood meets Irish Fiddling meets hiphop! The unusual mix works so well that the Winnipeg concert was sold out way in advance! The floor in the West End got such a beating that night - everyone was crazy about this group! If you haven't heard of them, you should check them out!

Ever heard of Rouleau, Saskatchewan?! You might of because it's where Corner Gas (Canadian TV sitcom for any Americans reading) was filmed! But that's not the reason I ended up there. It was for a show of Towns and Frinal Frontier - up and coming bands that you should have heard of by now! Okay, well maybe just some friend's bands! I have so many pictures of these guys from all their different shows, so this time I tried to catch some different expressions to make it interesting! Enjoy!

It seems there's some sort of unwritten rule that us Manitobains are not supposed to like our Prairie neighbors, but I really love Saskatchewan! These pics are from mid October, around Estevan, SK. On our way to a little band show, I had two lovely friends to practice shooting portraits with - thanks Laryssa and Zoe! It was a ton of fun!

Fall time! Just a few shots from back in October in Roxy Park. I really like the part of the city I live in here in Winnipeg, but you'll be able to tell that it's not the classiest part of town!

These pics are from my first corporate event I shot in September 2010! It was a French kind of NXNE (North By North East is a festival of emerging talent in music and film held in Toronto), except in French and for all the western provinces - so a much smaller scale! But none the less, still really exciting to see all the Francophone up and coming musicians and acts! These are a few of my faves from the showcases:
